It's the middle of winter. Does that mean we stay indoors? Of course not! For AdventureHers women, it's time to get out and try snowshoeing! Thanks to the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation who lent us the snowshoes and our fearless organizers, Susan and Katrina, 20 club members strapped on the 'shoes to enjoy a day of sunshine and fun right in Wascana Park! Thanks to Susan B. and Wendy B. for their pictures of the adventure!

Indoor Climbing
February/March 2005
Just because Saskatchewan doesn't have mountains, doesn't mean AdventureHers can't learn rock-climbing skills! Two groups of six AdventureHers spent part of the cold winter months in 2005 at the Saskatchewan Science Centre learning to tie figure-8 knots, bouldering, belaying and even learning what it would be like to climb without the use of their eyesight. Thanks to Susan B. for providing the pictures!
